    If you have not collected your keys to your chosen residence, you may request to cancel your booking in writing or email to the General Manager at your chosen location at any time during the 72 hours after we send you an e-mail confirming your booking is complete (the “72 Hours- Cooling Off Period”). If you do that, we will make no charge and will return any fees or any payments of advance rent back to you.
  • No Place No Pay
    If you are a prospective first year undergraduate student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution as a result of you not achieving their required entry grades, you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.   • Replacement Tenant Accepted
    Provided the 72-hour Cooling-Off-Period has expired, you will have to pay all amounts due under your Tenancy Agreement unless a replacement Tenant is found for your Room or you enter into a new Tenancy. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice.     Can I smoke in my room?

    Lulworth Student accommodation has a strict no smoking policy throughout all buildings. This includes both private and communal areas including the studios, Ensuite rooms and kitchens. Outside the buildings there are smoking areas with designated ashtrays.

    How do I collect my post?

    Post can be collected from the Halls reception area ( you might be asked to show your student ID)

    Do I need to move out, over the Christmas and Easter holidays?

    No your room is yours for the duration of your tenancy. You only need to move out of the room at the end of the tenancy agreement.

    What is the policy on guests staying in my room?

    It is best to speak with the staff at the reception to find out if this is ok. You may have occasional overnight guests. Please do not invite someone to stay for more than 2 consecutive nights. Each guest needs to be signed in at the reception for safety reasons.

    What documents do I need to bring when I move in?

    Please bring an official form of ID with you e.g. passport and a letter of enrolment from your university.

    Can I extend my stay at the end of my contract?

    We provide short stays, particularly during the summer months, often for students at language or summer schools please speak to your reception team about this option and they will be able to advise you.

    Why are my windows restricted?

    Your window have a restricting device that limits how far it opens. Its there for your safety so its important that you dont disconnect or damage it, or let anyone else do so. If the window fittings do become damaged, you need to tell a member of the accommodation team straight away. We check all the windows and their fittings regularly, to make sure theyre all safe and working properly.

    Can I terminate my contract before the agreed date?

    It is possible to terminate your contract if you find a suitable replacement for your room. Until a replacement has been found you will remain responsible for any payments due under your contract. Termination of the contract may incur extra service charges. Please contact the Lulworth team before you terminate your contract to find out who can be deemed a suitable successor for your room.

    What do I do if my internet has gone down?

    Your internet is maintained by our external IT Support Service Rejuvenate if you experience any problems.

    Some belongings of mine have been stolen, what do I do?

    If something has been stolen inside your flat, through break in, please contact the police 01202 222 222. You will receive a crime reference number, which is important to recover the loss from your insurance, depending on your insurance cover. Our Team will assist you to gather any important evidence.
    InsuranceYoull be pleased to hear that all Lulworth Management student accommodations have a basic personal contents insurance cover.  It is important for you to check this cover, so please follow the steps below to ensure you fully understand the protection provided.
    Enter in your policy number TBC on the insurers website online endsleigh.co.uk/reviewcover  to check your policy details. If you do not know your Policy Number, just call the Halls Office or send us an email to get your Policy Number.

It is important to find out exactly what you are covered for as you may find that the contents cover is not sufficient and you need to extend it to protect all of your possessions both inside and outside of your room.
    Laptops, mobile telephones and bicycles are the most common items stolen from students. Look after your property before someone else does!
    At the provided bike sheds, always secure your bicycle with a good strong lock to the bike rail, even if its only for a few minutes.
    Never leave property visible in your car. A coat or bag in the back seat could tempt a thief to break in and try to park in busy well-lit areas.

    Can I have a mini-fridge in my room?

    We do not allowed small appliances. We advise you to speak to our office.

    Where can I leave my Bike?

    There is a bike shed allocated at the residence. Bicycles are left at your own risk. Please be aware that the UHM is not liable for any loss, damage or theft to bicycles in storage. Be very careful, locking your bike whenever you leave it unattended. You are advised to use a heavy duty cycle lock to secure your bicycle.

    What communal spaces do you have?

    Some studio rooms offer dual occupancy - can my friend come to live with me?

    Yes! Check with the property about whether your studio room is eligible for dual occupancy, but please note that both students who wish to book the room as a joint tenancy MUST be students.

    What if I have a disability or special requirements?

    Their top priority is making sure you have a comfortable and safe stay, so please declare any medical information or disabilities on your application. All offer rooms types with additional and accessible facilities. When creating your application, please make sure you tick the DDA box and enter in as much detail as possible so our teams can ensure you reserve the most suitable Property  for your requirements.

    How close is my accommodation to the university?

    All of the properties are convenient, central, locations. Whether its close to your campus depends on where youre studying! All of our cities have excellent transport links and secure bike storage if you dont fancy walking.

    Do They provide the TV license in the shared flat kitchen?

    They do not provide any TV Licenses for the studios or shared flats so youll need to register for your own TV licence.

    Can I change rooms if I don't like mine?

    It would be possible if someone drops out or someone else wants to swap with you. Please contact your property team and they will do their best to accommodate your needs. Remember that all rooms are effectively the same apart from the floor space.

    What should I bring with me to live at a property?

    Bedding is not provided unless included in an offer (check with or teams), so bring a sheet to cover the mattress, a duvet and pillows.
