    Application Fee is $50. Admin fee: They call the admin fee a redecoration fee that is a one time $200 charge. Parking Fee: Parking is extra per month. A single parking spot it $120 per month and a tandem parking spot is $85 per month per person.

    How do I apply for an apartment?

    Their online application is easy and only takes 15 minutes to complete. Start by creating your account. From there, fill in the information requested and take a quick survey just in case we need to match you with a roommate. Once you input your guarantor information and other financial details, you’ll be on your way to signing your own personalized, individual lease agreement. For any questions along the way, contact their leasing office and one of their friendly team members will be happy to assist you.

    What is an individual lease?

    An individual lease means independence. When you lease an apartment at RISE, you’ll sign your own lease agreement. That means that you will be responsible for your portion of the rent, and nobody else’s. The rent you pay pertains to your bedroom and your share of the total cost of the unit. No more worrying about anybody’s finances but your own!

    Will I need a cosigner for my lease?

    At RISE, they don’t require cosigners for our leases. Instead, they require guarantors. 

    What is a guarantor?

    Guarantors are a third party outside of a tenant and a landlord that ensure the timely, full payment of rent. Usually, these are financially stable individuals close to RISE residents.

    Do apartments come furnished?

    Yes! Apartments are fully furnished from the day you move in. Each living room comes complete with a sofa, coffee table, SMART TV, and media stand. Kitchens are decked out with barstool seating, quartz countertops, a contemporary stainless-steel sink with a faucet sprayer and garbage disposal, and stainless-steel appliances including oven with full stovetop, microwave oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Bedrooms each come with a bed with memory-foam mattress, under-bed storage, desk, and a chair. Bathrooms have glass shower doors, quartz surface vanities, and shower wall panels. Your apartment home features wood-style flooring, USB power outlets, 1GB WiFi, and a premium cable package with Showtime and ESPN included. Apartments each also come with an in-home washer and dryer.

    RISE offers a variety of floor plans whether you’re looking for a solo space or room for you and your crew. Check out the floor plans we offer below:

    Is there parking at RISE?

    Of course. They have a secure, covered parking garage for the exclusive use of their RISE residents. To discuss getting your personal parking spot, contact their leasing office. Spaces are limited and leased on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to call to inquire about a parking spot today.

    Is there security?

    The safety of their residents is our first priority at RISE. They have round-the-clock video surveillance, electronic keycard entry, and a front-desk check-in process to help keep the premises secure.

    Does RISE allow pets?

    As much as they love your furry friends, RISE on Chauncey does not allow pets at this time.

    Where does my mail go?

    Each unit at their apartments in West Lafayette has its own mailbox in the mailroom on the first floor of the building located near the resident lounge and leasing office. All mail for the entire unit will be delivered there. If a package doesn’t fit in the mailbox, it will be delivered to their leasing office.

    How do I pay my rent at RISE?

    They make things easy with their online Resident Portal. Paying rent is done completely online and can even be automated. When you become a resident, you’ll create an account to access your Resident Portal, where you’ll see an option in the dashboard to pay your rent each month.

    How do I make a maintenance request?

    The Resident Portal is where you can also go to submit maintenance requests. You can see a log of the maintenance requests you’ve submitted and the status of each. You can navigate to the maintenance tab in the portal, or you can simply press the “Submit Maintenance Request” button on the homepage of the dashboard.

    Who can access the amenities?

    The amenities at their apartments in West Lafayette are available exclusively to residents and their guests – it’s one of the amazing perks of living RISE.

    What utilities come with rent?

    When you pay rent at RISE, you’re getting more than just an apartment. You’re gaining access to a wealth of amenities unlike anything else in Indiana. Complimentary utilities like gas and blazing-fast 1GB WiFi are also included. But most of all, you’re joining a community of explorers and adventurers.

    Are utility bills charged monthly or quarterly?

    They are charged monthly on the residents online portal with rent.

    Is the membership fee one-time or recurring?

    They do not have a membership fee.

    Is it possible to request a gender-specific room?

    They only roommate match based of the gender. If they wish to have a co-ed unit they’re required to fill that whole unit. They do not offer co-ed roommate matching.

    Are common facilities inclusive or chargeable?

    Do you allow dual occupancy and couples?

    They do not. They only lease per bed space. If a couple wanted to live together they each would have to have a lease.

    What are the tenure options?

    Their lease term for the 24/25 leasing term is August 16th – July 31st.

    Is there flexibility in the payment structure?

    Unfortunately, no. Rent is due on the first of every month. Late fees start acruing on the 4th of every month.

    What is the policy for early move-out?

    You can move out as early as you like. However, you would still be held responsible for the rent and utility payments until you have found someone to relet your lease.
