All floorplans include utilities, so you won't have to worry about extra fees. In 10 minutes, you may walk to the University of South Australia's City West Campus or catch the bus to the East Campus.

Studying has never been easier with a full library and speedy Wi-Fi. Set up your bedroom workstation or collaborate with friends in one of the shared study areas instead. After that, blow off some steam with a gym session. Every room has an ensuite bathroom or a private bathroom shared with one other roommate. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the building's lush terrace or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Cooking courses and movie evenings at the movies are part of a regular social schedule. Alternatively, visit the game rooms, which have video games and pool tables.

    Cooling Off Period All confirmed bookings (holding deposit paid) generally have 48 hours cooling-off period. VIC - All confirmed bookings will have their deposits refunded if the student decides to cancel their booking before signing their contract.     Early termination of an existing lease will observe the Residential Tenancy Bond Authority (RTBA) laws. State laws apply.  Their Deferral and Cancellation Policy is only available to new students with a booking commencing in Semester 2, 2022, who have not previously stayed with us at one of our Scape Group properties and are currently located outside of Australia. Please note that once your contract commences, this policy no longer applies. This policy relates to individual bookings only;

    Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

    Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

    Payment info: Holding deposit of 1 weeks rent is needed to confirm the booking. Rent payment frequency is fortnight or upfront. Should a student choose the fortnight payment frequency, there will be a direct debit registration to a nominated bank account. Credit card charges apply. For Student under 18 years:-  Room offers for Under 18 students will be processed as per institution requirements. They may inform you to seek approval from the university/ college prior to processing the application. The student may also incur an additional charge by the institution. Laundry Payment info:- Washers and dryer sessions are at $4 per session and students can use their EFTPOS (Credit or debit card) to make payment.   Bond: Is payable 10 days prior to arrival via the student portal and is lodged to the Australian Government on the students behalf. Bond is equivalent to 4 x weeks rent

    Who can live at the property (couple, parents)?

    Students. If it’s an U18 approved building, no non-students are allowed. Couples (students) need to be subjected to room availability.

    Is there an age limit for booking?

    The main cohort of students in our assets are 18-25 years old. If you have someone who is not within this key group, we want to make sure they fit within the resident community hence more information about the person needs to be submitted for approval.

    Can I choose who I live with?

    No, unless you book with someone in a twin or apply with other tenants in a shared apartment. If you’re picky with room mates, best to book a studio.

    Can I keep a fridge in my room or use additional electronics?

    All rooms are furnished. You must not buy another fridge else you’ll compromise voltage allowance and May short circuit.

    Are there spare rooms for visitors to stay in?

    Depends. Again no visitors allowed in U18 approved buildings.

    If I don’t get on with my new roommates can I change rooms?

    Resolved at property level, but residents chose to live in a shared apartment so the first scenario would be mediation with a Scape staff.

    What appliances are included in your apartment when you arrive?

    Usually for qns 12, fridge is provided but common items like kettle, personal kitchenware items are not provided.

    Who is responsible for cleaning?

    You. Or in a shared apartment, everyone.

    Fantastic place for students. It's close to all the significant places. Warm rooms and hygiene are maintained correctly. The service is excellent as well.

    The staff isn't very helpful; they wouldn't solve my problems for weeks at times. Apart from that, the rooms are comfy, and the hall is pretty big.
