About University of Hertfordshire

Founded in 1952, the University of Hertfordshire is a public university in Hertfordshire, England. The university is mainly located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Its predecessor, Hatfield Technical College, was founded in 1948 and was accredited in 1959 as one of the 25 Colleges of Technology in the UK.

University's first campus, located in Low Green, Hatfield, was established as a technical college with a special focus on educating aerospace engineers.
